Trust

Commuting. I haven’t done it for a while (other than a 10 sec walk to my desk).

When I did it regularly, 50% of the time I enjoyed it. I was given time to walk and think.

The other 50%, well; anyone who has experienced public transport in London will know where I am coming from!

Today I will be in an office. Yes an office. A real one.

There will be people. There will be coffee. There is potential for distraction. I will have to be on guard as “stuff” still needs to be done.

In transformation, one pillar is trust. Trusting yourself to reach your outcome and trusting the people you work with to obtain theirs too.

They will be distracted. But give them the chance to hit their goals in the required time. Don’t keep asking them “where is it”.

You never know, the result may surprise you!

“It’s a dangerous business, Frodo, going out your door. You step onto the road, and if you don’t keep your feet, there’s no knowing where you might be swept off to”.
